木材不足や従事者不足、大きな自然災害など工芸の環境も大きく変化しています。
漆器には沢山の木材が必要な上、美しい形状のためにその大半を挽き、木粉を大量に出します。
菱華産業のミライウッド技術は、木粉と生分解性樹脂を成形して木製品を作ることができ、さらに職人の手業を加え、新たな循環と価値を生み出します。

デザインモチーフの雲斗と雲肘木は、飛鳥時代からの日本建築様式の特徴的な組物であり、法隆寺などの建築物にその姿を見ることができます。「雲」のモチーフは寺社彫刻や社殿内の装飾にも使われており、寺社建築の美しい曲線美を表現する重要な要素となっています。日本の各寺社に用いられた古(いにしえ)の線形を組み入れ、新たな木器へと落とし込みました。

The design motifs of Kumoto and kumohijiki have been characteristic elements of the Japanese architectural style since the Asuka period (late 6th to early 8th century), and can be seen in buildings such as the famous Horyu-ji Temple in Nara. The “cloud” motif is also used in temple and shrine sculptures and in the interior decorations of shrines. It is an important element in expressing the beautiful curvilinear beauty of temple and shrine architecture. We have incorporated the ancient lines and shapes used in Japanese temples and shrines into new wooden vessels.
