『これからの定番となる、長く愛される高台椀』を目指しました。
凛とした佇まいと、手にやさしく収まるかたち。
山中漆器が誇る加飾挽きを用いた、
現代の食卓にも映える高台の器です。

“Utena” means “pedestal”, “stand” or “foundation/supporting part”.
High-footed bowls have been a part of people's lives since ancient times.
We reviewed their traditional shapes of it and aimed to create a long-loved “Utena” bowl that will become a standard for the future and will look great on a modern dining tables.
The distinguished appearance and the shape that fits comfortably in the hand are the result of the decorative woodturning technique which Yamanaka Lacquerware is proud of.
